Mouse doesn't scroll up or down or side to side

Mouse doesn't scroll up or down or side to side, how do I reset it or something to make it work again?

MacBook Air (11-inch, Early 2014), OS X Yosemite (10.10.3), null

Is this a new machine with a new mouse. Is it properly set up per Apple guide notes? Just in case, this is a general guide.

I have been using the mouse with this computer for about 4 months and it suddenly stopped scrolling today. I've never had issues before.

No, but you may have accidentally disturbed a setting. Have you studied item 3 in the list of the link I gave you. Do you live near an Aple store or an Authorised Re-seller?

Then I think you should take both items into your local store having first made a genius bar appointment. They should sort it out on the spot ... no charge. I would be more reluctant to take this route with a Mac, being a much bigger item, but the MacBook air and a mouse are portable.

If this is your first Apple experience, don't be worried about troubling people with something that some people might have done by themselves; this is what a warranty is for.
