Q: Photos aren't saving to camera roll iOS 8.4

5s 32gb iOS8.4

i took photos last night and they saved to camera roll. Today I've taken photos and they haven't saved. No 'storage' message comes up. Still, deleted some photos and took a photo to check if that did it - no joy. When I go into the camera I can see the last photo taken but I click and it goes to the camera roll (still no new photos except the ones last night). No photo stream running on my phone. I've had an issue connecting to App Store today but can't imagine this is an issue. Haven't done anything different. Normally I can google and find a fix for issues but this one has got me stumped!

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!

I understand that new photos are not showing up in your Camera Roll and you receive a storage alert. On the surface, this sounds like there may be no more available storage on your iPhone to save those pictures. In this situation, I would suggest reading over the attached article for information on deleting some of the lesser used content on your device to free up some space.

Delete music, movies, podcasts, and other content from your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch - Apple Support

I have the same problem, and it is NOT because of storage. I just restored my iPhone 6, iOS 8.4.1 from a fresh backup. Since then, I cannot save anything to my camera roll (neither from the Camera app itself, not from other apps). All solutions Google spit out for this involve deleting/modifying files and folders on OS level (e.g. using iExplorer or iMazing) - there must be a better solution from Apple...

I have an iPhone 6s Plus. I find a Google image, click on it, and press save. I get the "Image save to camera roll" Plus the check sign. I go to the camera roll, and the image is not there.
