Q: Family Sharing

I am Spanish, my wife Brazilian.

We both have our accounts in our countries stores (Spain & Brazil).

We cannot create a family sharing group; disappointing.

Any possible solution?

    Hello there Semaforo,

     

    It sounds like you are trying to use Family Sharing between two accounts that are in different countries. According to the following article they need to be in the same country:

     

    Sharing purchased content with Family Sharing

     To share purchased content, all family members must use the same iTunes Store country or region.

     

    You can change the country of one of the accounts but there are some caveats to keep in mind:

     

    Change the country of your iTunes Store, App Store, iBooks Store, and Mac App Store account

    If you don't change your country when you move, it's possible that your credit card won't be accepted for payment. For example, only German credit cards can be used to buy content from the German iTunes and App stores.

    After you change the country of your account, you won't see the items you purchased from the previous country’s store in the Purchased section.
