can i unlock my iphone with the five digit code they gave me

sprint gave me a locked phone when i received a replacement phone for my iphone 6 i tried to have them unlock it to switch to another carrier net 10 first they wouldn't give me code or unlock it after two hours they said the code was they saw as before 00000 btw which is MSL code for iphone 6! all of them on sprint but said they can't unlock it because my accioun is suspended what can i do with that code to unlock it(

iPhone 6, iOS 8.1.3, sprint

No. There is no such thing as an unlock code for an iPhone. If it's locked to Sprint, and they refuse to unlock it, it can not be unlocked.

The carrier has to send the unlock signal to the iPhone, you don't enter it yourself. You will have to continue to deal with Sprint.

thanks i spent three hours yesterday contacting them they are really useless at times and gave me the run around

If it's locked to Sprint, it MUST be active on their network for them to effect an unlock. If the account it's tied to is not active, it can not be unlocked.

The practice that seems to be commonly used by the carriers is to only unlock an iPhone for a customer in good standing who has completed the terms of their contract. Sprint has reportedly not been cooperative with anyone when it comes to iPhone unlocking. All of which means you are pretty much stuck since ONLY the carrier can unlock the iPhone.
