Data Point icons in Numbers

Is there any way to import new data point icons in Numbers?

There is a convention in some of the work that I am doing to use particular icons on a specific sort of Chart. Specifically, data from the right hand side is marked with an unfilled circle (easy, it is in numbers) whereas data from the left hand side is marked with a 'x'. There is no equivalent data marker in Numbers.

Is this editable (sic)?

to change the "Datas Symbol" use the Style formatter for the series:

click the chart, then pause, then click the series (in this case I clicked on the orange line in the chart)

I, and I assume Wayne, are using version 3.5.3. Maybe you're using an earlier version and can update?

That + is not to add more. It's the actual symbol.

Nice chart. Didn't realize the choice of Data Symbol for 2D Scatter is longer than for 2D Line.
