What can I do about my broken charger? I barely bought my new iphone 3 days ago.

If you broke it yourself you will simply have to buy another one. If it was supplied broken (did not work), take it back to the shop for replacement. If you bought the phone other than from a formal Apple store or outlet, any guarantee may depend on the country / retailer's terms and conditions.
the warranty system is not something the manufactor decide it's the laws of your country

the purpose of warranty is to spare the customers from the ills of finding out a manufactoring defect after purchase has taken place
so if your charger stopped working for no good reason warranty should cover it
but if you threw our charger out the windows gave it a good hit with a brick and shot it with a gun then warranty would not cover and you would as suggested have to purchase a new charger
