How does one turn on location feature on Photos ??

MacBook Air (13-inch Mid 2012), OS X Yosemite (10.10.4)

    The locations are shown in the Info panel in Photos - select a photo and press the key combination ⌘I.

    But in the current Photos version it is not possible to edit locations. Photos can only show locations on a map, if a photo already has GPS. You'll have to wait for the next major release of Photoa that will come with the next MacOS X 10.11 El Capitan in the fall. (see Apple — OS X El Capitan)

    Right now, edit the locations before you import the photos to Photos, for example in iPhoto.
