I have a MacBook Pro (Yosemite 10.10.4). The computer is slow when using any applications including finder. It started a few days and I've gone back and gone through and deleted anything I download just in case. It'll work fine for a minute or so but the it will stop responding and the beachball will appear and if I'm on chrome sometimes I'll have to kill the page.

How can I post/find a full log? Or how do I know when a log is a full one?

The startup drive is failing, or there is some other internal hardware fault.

Back up all data on the drive immediately if you don't already have a current backup. There are ways to back up a computer that isn't fully functional—ask if you need guidance.

Make a "Genius" appointment at an Apple Store, or go to another authorized service provider.

If privacy is a concern, erase the data partition(s) with the option to write zeros* (do this only if you have at least two complete, independent backups, and you know how to restore to an empty drive from any of them.) Don’t erase the recovery partition, if present.

Keeping your confidential data secure during hardware repair

Apple also recommends that you deauthorize a device in the iTunes Store before having it serviced.

*An SSD doesn't need to be zeroed.

The report shows, as Linc Davis predicted, that your hard drive is failing. Make a backup NOW and then make an appointment with an Apple retail store or authorized service provider to get the drive replaced. Apple will not make the backup for you, so do it before taking the computer in for service.

You need to do some cleanup to restore speed:

1) You have both MacAfee and Norton antivirus software installed. Both are basically useless on a Mac, typically pitched to switchers from Windows who have been bombarded with the idea that a computer cannot work without steaming piles of questionable third-party utilities. They are slowing your computer. Remove them according to instructions on their respective web sites;

https://support.norton.com/sp/en/us/home/current/solutions/kb20080427024142EN_En dUserProfile_en_us

https://kc.mcafee.com/corporate/index?page=content&id=KB61125

2) Make certain that DivX is fuly updated. There is evidence that outdated version of this player app can cause issues.

3) You don't have enough RAM to run Google apps. Google produces very taxing software and can slow things on a computer with 4GB RAM that otherwise runs OS 10.10 Yosemite fine.

4) Amazon Cloud Drive may be contributing to your performance issues, especially if you have a slow (less than 5 MBps) internet connection.
