When I dropped My iphone 5c a barcode showed up on the screen for 6 seconds then the screen went black HELP!

I was in spain and about 4 days ago and my iphone 5c was very hot, I had been using it and the battery was on 30%. I dropped it on its back whilst using snapchat and a green, black and white barcode showed up on the screen. I rapidly began to tap the home screen then the screen went black. I put it on charge and as usual it vibrated, I received sounds when I received a call or message and I could even turn on siri but the backlight on the screen turned the screen blue then black. I have now just opened iTunes (not the most recent version) and as I plugged in the USB with the phone in I held the lock button and the home button but the phone was totally unresponsive. Its now charged and I'm receiving texts but the screen is still black I dont know how old the phone is but my father had it before me, I dont want to open up my private files and I cant afford to replace it. SOMEONE HELP 😟
