Can I use iMessage with Uber?

Hi,

I don't have a text messaging plan on my iPhone 6 as I use iMessage or Facebook Messaging. I'd like to use Uber but when they send me a code I can't access it since I don't have SMS on my plan. Is there any way around this? I'm not very tech savvy so if you answer, please keep that in mind! Thank you.
