iPod won't restore after DFU mode

I use a 120 GB 6th Edition of the iPod classic. Today, iTunes told me I needed to restore the iPod, so I clicked restore. I'm not really sure what happened after that because I wasn't watching it closely, but it's been stuck in a loop of the black and white "Do not disconnect." I've tried using the DFU mode, which was successful, but it did not break the restore cycle and the iPod is still not being recognized by iTunes. My PC recognizes the iPod, though.
