I was on Safari with multiple tabs opened. One opened with Adware with a message that locked my computer. I have restarted computer and every time I open Safari all the same tabs open, as well as the Adware tab. I can't get out or use Safari. Help please.
MacBook, Mac OS X (10.5.8)
Choose Force Quit from the Apple menu, close Safari, and then launch it with the Shift key held down. If the message reappears, disconnect the computer from the Internet for long enough to erase that site from the browser history, or if desired, click here and follow the instructions.
