Unable to edit stabilization settings in Final Cut Pro X

When you select the clip and enable Stabilization, you should see text in the bottom left of the clip in the Viewer. It says "Analyzing For Dominant Motion". This is a background task, and depending on the type and length and amount of motion in the clip, may take a little bit. Eventually when the analysis is done, you'll have your controls light up.
