Move from Mac TO PC

I'm trying to move my iTunes Library and other music files FROM my old Mac TO a laptop PC (Win 8.2)

I have copied all files onto an external hard drive.

Naturally, the WinPC doesn't recognize the Apple files on the hard drive (it sees no files at all.)

How do I finish this transfer?

See Make a split library portable to make sure the library is in the correct shape for a seamless move.

You may need to install an HFS+ driver on the PC to read the Mac formatted drive. Alternatively use your network to transfer the data over.
