I am trying to set up a Western Digital My Cloud network storage 2tb box to my Windows vista computer and Ipad air and have managed to get as far as having the files in the my cloud and the app on my ipad but when I open the app to my cloud and click on the file I want to edit on my ipad a cloud with a question mark in the centre appears and I can't get beyond that. I have tried everything I can think of to get the files to open and have so far spent some days trying to solve this and contacted WD support but still can't get them to open. Please some one help.

I took a look at the manual here: http://www.wdc.com/wdproducts/library/UM/ENG/4779-705103.pdf

I don't have a My Cloud drive, but at quick glance, I can ask a couple of simple questions based on what I read.

Have you properly configured user access?

Are you using the proper WD app for your device?

Are you using the proper mobile device access code generated by your WD My Cloud device?

For more, you might have better luck asking on the WD site here http://support.wdc.com/product/kb.asp?groupid=904&lang=en and or here http://community.wdc.com/t5/WD-My-Cloud/bd-p/mycloud. Even if WD can't or won't help, other users may be able to.
