FaceTime video freezing since iOS 8.4 update

SInce updating iPad to 8.4, FaceTime video connection keeps freezing and stating "connection to poor for video". The audio connection is fine, and video connection of receiver is good also, ie they can see me. Any ideas?

iPad (4th gen) Wi-Fi, iOS 8.4
