Itunes sync

Hi everyone, So I've never had any problems before with my songs on my iPhone but about 4 days ago I noticed I was missing the majority of my songs, they're all still on my iTunes and are showing up as being on my phone when viewed on iTunes however they cant be played just throws up a ⚠ symbol next to the track. Any ideas on how to sort this please?
