I have uninstalled icloud for windows on my pc now i am trying to reinstall having problems keeps coming up there is a problem with this windows installer package a program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected contact your support personnel or package vendor can anyone tell what that means as icloud will not update or install on my pc i have windows 8

In my recent experience with this error, I simply right-clicked the installation file (iTunes6464Setup.exe) and selected "run as administrator." Installation proceeded as expected from there. This was in Win10, but may also work in Win8/8.1.
