Q: Can't send emails from work email on apple mail
Hi! I'm trying to connect my work email to apple mail and I'm following all the steps from my server provider. Email works fine on my iphone but it's been impossible to connect it on my Mac. I am able to receive emails but not to send. This is the message a receive every time I try to send an email. I have used the connection Doctor and everything seems to be working fine.
I would really appreciate any help!
Thanks!

okay, maybe I can help....go into mail, then preferences, then accounts, then account info, and check to see if your info is correct. go to outgoing mail server
(SMTP) and choose Edit SMTP list, choose your server, in this case "sc1.conectarhosting.com". You should see under the smtp server list, a little box with 2 tabs on it, Account information and Advanced, go to advanced, and set Authentication to either "None" or "Password" and type in your user name and password, save and quit and see if that did anything good. Usually your work email should have a list of settings for it. Check with your office IT person and treat 'em nicely.
good luck to you
