handoff not supported in mid 2012 macbook pro

Just got myself a MBP mid 2012

And somehow, it shows that Handoff and instant hotspot is not supported.

As far as I know from all the KB from Apple, this model does support both. https://support.apple.com/en-sg/HT204689

Am using iPhone 6 on iOS 8.4, bluetooth and handoff are on.

Bluetooth is on on the MBP as well and on Yosemite 10.10.4

Can anyone shed some light?

MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.4)
