why does my son phone ring when i call my daughter
when i call my daughters number, my sons phone also rings, how do i fix this?

On all of the phones go to Settings > FaceTime and change "iPhone Cellular Calls" to off.
That will solve that problem but you should also consider using a separate Apple ID for each person. That is now more flexible with new family sharing features. https://www.apple.com/icloud/family-sharing/
