Time capsule back up

Hi,

My time capsule is refusing to back up, instead showing the following error message:

"Time Machine couldn't complete the backup to your Time Capsule.

The backup disk image "/Volumes/Data/Mark Powell's Macbook Pro.sparsebundle" could not be accessed

(error (null))."

Can anyone suggest a remedy?
