Q: deleted purchases reappear

i've installed the new itunes last week and suddenly old purchases from years ago keep coming back.

This includes childrens songs and songs i downloaded for a wedding party, so not really the stuff i want in my music.

i've deleted them several times but that doesn't do the trick. how do i get rid of this stuff?
