FCPX, latest version. Did a 3 camera shoot, Canon HFG20. Imported video, transcoded, edited in multiclip using proxy. Everything looks fine. When I switch back to Original, Best Quality, one of the three angles is black. Switch back to proxy, I see all the angles. Want to export in the high quality. Any ideas as to why this is happening? Thanks in advance.

Select one of the "black angle" clips in the Browser. In the Inspector>Info verify that in Available Media Representations, you have a green dot before Proxy..

Green dots by all three, Original, Optimized and Proxy. Everything looks fine with 'Better Performance' and 'Proxy' chosen (my edit mode) but when I select 'Optimized Original' and 'Better Quality' the wide camera angle turns black. Hmmm Thanks for your reply.
Please open the Angle Editors (double click the multi clip), take a screen shot of the timeline window and post it.

What format are the native clips?
Filmed with my Canon HFG20 (three new cameras). PF30FXP was the setting on the camera. It creates AVHCD. When I import it I can reveal in finder, open in quicktime and this is what it says in the quicktime inspector: H.264, 1920x1080 Linear PCM 16 bit Little-endian sign... FPS 29.97 Data Rate. 17.Mbits/s. Not an expert on all these formats. I have done this many times withought a problem, I am fearing a corrupted file. Thanks for helping.
Interesting, fooling around with it I looked at the whole timeline of the multiclip, set it on original best quality and all the clips wanted to render (orange bar) EXCEPT THE WIDE CAMERA, the one in question. That shows it doesn't need a render and is still black. Hmmm
Delete the render files.
Where are the render files, in the library?
To delete render files for a library (or similarly, for a project, or an event): select it, and go to File->Delete Generated Library Files...
Check the box that says "render files", and choose "all".
Thanks for your suggestions. I deleted all the files (render and proxy) and that solved the problem. Must have been a corrupted optimized file.
