How to add music to itunes from data discs

Help! I backed up all of my music previously saved on an old computer using itunes data disc option. I now have a new computer with the newest version of itunes and I cannot figure out how to add music from said data discs to my new itunes library.

iTunes no longer includes a backup to CD/DVD feature. I've not used it so I don't know how the files are set out on the disc, but I would expect you can copy them on to say your desktop, remove the read-only flag that may be set on files copied from read-only media, then move the files inside your Automatically Add to iTunes folder to add them to your library.

If you don't see individual files with the song names of the backed up tracks then I suspect you will need to install iTunes 10.3 in order to restore the data. Try this page: iTunes 10.3.1.
