New Service to delete carriage-returns/new-lines in selected text?

How can I make a new Service (with the Automator.app perhaps?) so that the new service will appear in the "Services" submenu in the context menu, which will delete carriage-returns/new-lines in selected text? I want to be able to select a set of lines (in any application), right-click, pick my new service, and have it convert all those lines into a single paragraph with no line breaks.
