Can xcode 6 run on the new 1.3K 2015 MacBook?

Hi.

I'm new to apple computers, and I am choosing the new MacBook 1.3k 2015 for portable coding.

I have a small question though that's been bugging me for a while. Can xcode 6 run smoothly on the new 2015 MacBook with the 1.3K specs?

How smooth is it? Does it still run smooth for game dev?

MacBook, OS X Yosemite (10.10.4), Using 1.3K specs, 2015 model.

No problems with Xcode on a fairly new Mac running v10.10.4 Yosemite here. I've never had it crash.
