Saturday, my daughter threw something and it hit my rMBP screen and now there is horizontal lines all over it, probably a silly question but where do I go from here??

Ugh, it looks like your daughter broke your MacBook's display.
You should take the Mac to an Apple Retail Store (if you live near one of them) to get it repaired, or an Authorized Reseller. Remember that this may be an expensive repair, because it is not covered by its warranty.
Thank you for your response, but strangely the problem, for now anyway seems to have fixed itself and the display seems back to normal, hopefully it will remain this way.🙂
It the knock might have loosened the video cable. That might has caused the lines.

Hopefully Paul that's what happened, I contacted Apple Care anyway and they have sent me a couple of links to test the hardware when I get home which I shall do again thank you for your reply.
