How do I remove the Yahoo toolbar from Firefox

I am trying to remove Yahoo which has appeared in the new Firefox update to no avail. Can anyone please help?

MacBook Air (13-inch, Early 2014), OS X Yosemite (10.10.1)

I have the latest version of Firefox but no "Yahoo tool bar." Can you post a screen shot of what it looks like? is it part of a Yahoo home page?

Go into Tools > Add-ons > Extensions.
Locate, in the list presented, the extension that enables Yahoo's toolbar (probably called Yahoo toolbar or something similar).
Select that extension.
Click the button Disable or the button Uninstall.
Restart Firefox for the changes to take effect.
