Hi,
For some really annoying reason itunes will not sort by purchases by 'name' or 'most recent'.... see image below
iPad 2, iOS 8.4
It's not just you. It would seem neither of those sorting options are behaving as indicated. 😟

I have contacted support half a dozen times, and sadly no explanation could be given as to why this may be happening. Most often I just get referred here to discussions or to the feedback page.
And you are right, it is very annoying. Since 2010, I have never had a problem with this, I could arrange apps by either Most Recent or by Name.
I really hope they can figure out why this may be happening.
