iTunes Match and Apple TV

So I'm thinking about buying Apple TV but I mainly want to watch Netflix and use my music library.Do I have to have iTunes Match for either of these?

IiTunes Match is not necessary. Use home sharing https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT202190
