Connecting macbook air to time capsule

I want to connect my macbook air (mid 2013) to my older (flat model) time capsule. How can I do it without doing it wirelessly? What cords would I need?

To start, here are the technical specs for the MacBook Air I think you have (13"):

I think you are referring to the third generation Time Capsule:

If the above is correct, you can use a Thunderbolt to Gigabit Ethernet Adapter along with an Ethernet cable to connect your Mac to the Time Capsule.
