Looking at this thread Re: iTunes repeatedly asks for password - again and again it seems the issue may be connected to allowing your system/default browser to accept cookies from Apple. Try clearing out the cache in IE or your default browser (it seems iTunes calls on one or other to render the store pages) and check you're not blocking or automatically clearing cookies.

I have the same problem as of recent. Each time I now open iTunes to sync I'm asked for my credentials. It was only a periodic thing previously. I used Firefox and have it set to clear cookies upon exit as a default setting.
I also have Preferences/Store set to Never Require for purchases?

So what happens if you change that setting in Firefox?
It may be possible to set exceptions to allow some cookies to be preserved.
E.g. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/954358

I know I can allow exceptions but when I open iTunes I'm not on a website with a URL that I can copy/paste to the exception screen.
If you locate something in the store you can copy its link. E.g.
https://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/views/id1108742399
So you probably want an exception for itunes.apple.com.
