How do I make a reservation at the local Apple store to upgrade my Computer?
I am in need of upgrading my safari from OS6.8 to the Lion Os7.0

Call your local Apple Store and ask them if they will do it.
There are 3 Apple Store in my local area, I know one will do work like and the other 2 will not at least the last time I spoke to them.
