Q: How to access my shared iCloud photo album via web on my mac?

I'm trying to figure out how to access my shared photo album via the web browser so I can download some videos that I posted there. The originals got deleted of my iPhone and the original album. I've read that you can only download video via iCloud web but when I log into my account, I cannot find my shared albums on the web version of iCloud.

I read on the Apple site that it is possible to access and download from shared photo albums but I cant seem to figure it out.

MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.5)

You can get the address from your phone at Photos > Shared > Album > People.

But I don't see why you can't get it from the Photos Application on your Mac though.

Ah, I had this album set to private since I didn't want it searchable online. I just assumed if I created the shared albulm it would show up in the web version of my iCloud acct. as one that I have shared.

So looks like the only way I can access this is by making it public and getting that share link?

If you have created shared albums anywhere, you should be able to access them through Photos on your Mac and download anything that way. Also there should be no reason why you now can't make the shared album public, so you can download it through the web interface.
