Hi Keshiakola,

I understand you are wanting to upload a cropped picture to Facebook, but the original image is what is uploading. Are you sharing your photo from the Photos app on your iPhone to your Facebook account, or are you importing these pictures to a folder on your computer and then uploading?

If you have not updated your iOS to 8.4, I would suggest doing that first:

Update the iOS software on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

Here are some links that may help based on the scenarios above:

What to expect when you import edited photos from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to your Mac or PC - Apple Support
https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201463

Images you import to your computer directly from your iOS device will show up as the original image in iPhoto, Aperture, and in the Finder. You might notice .AAE files on your device if you are browsing its contents for import. These files contain the edits made on the device, and do not indicate a problem with the images.

To import edited photos to your computer

If you want to view the edited version of a photo on a Mac or PC that doesn’t automatically import the edited version:

  • AirDrop or email the photo to yourself.
  • Or, if you've enabled iCloud Photo Library, download it from the Photos web app at iCloud.com.

This will save a copy of the edited version on your computer, but you won't be able to revert to the original, unedited version.

Share from apps - iPhone

In many apps, you can tap Share or User uploaded file to choose how to share your information. The choices vary depending on the app you’re using. Additional options may appear if you’ve downloaded apps with sharing options. For more information, see App extensions.

Use Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, Vimeo or other third-party apps with sharing options. Sign in to your account in Settings. The third-party sharing buttons take you to the appropriate setting if you’re not yet signed in.

Take care,
