iPod Touch 4G touchscreen problem.

My friend gave me an iPod Touch 4G a month or so ago and it worked perfectly until now. Two days ago, I dropped it from a small distance on the ground while walking my dog. I picked it up and tried to turn it on to listen to music but when I try to slide to unlock it, the slider goes to a small portion of the screen, stops, and slides back. I also tried sliding the camera shortcut up but wouldn't work. I just restored it with iTunes and no dice. iPod Touch is running iOS 6.1.6, non-jailbroken, 32 GB, and a fourth-generation. Please help ASAP!!!

Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for $199 for a 64 GB 4G and $99 for the other 4Gs. They do not fix yours.

A third-party place like the following maybe less. Google for more.

iPhone Repair, Service & Parts: iPod Touch, iPad, MacBook Pro Screens

Fix it yourself if you are up to it. Very hard to do since yo really do not know what is wrongs/what to fix
