MagSafe Charging Problems

Hi, before I ask the question I'm using a MacBook Air mid 2011 with an L type MagSafe 45W Charger.

Ok so my problem arose shortly after coming back from London, when on the plane the MagSafe charger while plug into my computer would (Momentarily) stop charging, then continue to charge. I figured this wasn't good for the battery. I also figured maybe its because of the plug on the plane? I come home and what do you see? The same problem occurs. As a matter of fact its going on right now. I plan on replacing my battery soon but the Charger is less than a year old (I replaced my old one.) I plan on going to a BestBuy to see if they come up with any other information.
