how to use software from one computer to another

Hello,

I have a MacBook Pro version 10.7.5 Memory 4GB with Autodesk Maya software that I wish to use on my new iMac OS X Yosemite version 10.10.4

3.1 GHz Intel Core i7

16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

Macintosh HD

Is there a way to transfer the maya software to this new computer?

Go to their website, download the most recent version, install it on your new computer. If you already have the current version, then re-install it from your distribution medium.
