daughter brought her ipad 4 to me showing a sign to connect ipad to itunes. when I plug it in it says it need to be restored goes through downloading then when it says updating it keeps failing and now I just get a black screen. now screen stays black and ipad wont start at all. only message I get is ipad recovery mode then it fails again. I have tried this umpteen times but still no joy
If you are using a Windows computer, disable anti virus software then try recovery mode again.
Otherwise, take the iPad in for service > Apple - Find Locations
Check Your Service and Support Coverage
Find the serial number of your Apple hardware product - Apple Support
