i Need to update my software, I have spent HOURS deleting files and photographs to find I still have 10,000!!! The vast majority are duplicates!! I feleted most of them last night but they have appeared in my photo folder!!
SERIOUSLY LOOSING THE WILL TO LIVE!!!!

Rule Number One: Never delete anything whose purpose you don't understand.
There are many reasons why you might have what appear to be duplicate images on your computer - especially if you use apps like iPhoto, Photos, Aperture or Lightroom to work with your images.
So, where are you seeing these apparent duplicates? Is this in an All Images location, for instance? Accuracy is important here. Get this wrong and you'll be deleting your photographs.
