Q: New I Phone6 sharing phone data with other I cloud shared phones

When we purchased my husbands new iPhone 6 and enabled with a backed up version of his iPhone 5 all of my contacts from my phone showed up on his new phone in additionto his own and now mynphone calls are showing up in his call logs but not ringing to his phone. How can we shared the I cloud for apps, music and books but keep are phone contacts and call logs separate? I can not figure it out.

You really can't. iCloud sharing shares everything on the same Apple ID. However, you can get a 2nd Apple ID and link them using Family Sharing. This will allow sharing apps, music, iBooks, podcasts, etc, but keep your other data separate. See: Family Sharing - Apple Support
