my I pad completely died while I was reading an email

My I Pad completely died on me while I was reading an email. it was fully recharged last night. Anything I can do to bring it back to life?

iPad 2 Wi-Fi, iOS 8.3

Attach to your charger, let it charge for half an hour, then try doing a reboot by holding both the power and home buttons until the apple logo appears, about 10-40 seconds, then release both buttons.

After charging it for at least 30 minutes:

A forced restart may help. Tap and hold the Home button and the On/Off buttons for approximately 15-20 seconds, until the Apple logo reappears. When the logo appears, release both buttons.

No content is affected by this procedure.

thank you very much. Just went on search and saw an answer right there: pressed the button on the right side and a home button together , hold it for a few seconds and it worked!
