How much space will 100GB photo library take on iPhone if optimized for iCloud?

Our library in iPhoto is approximately 100GB. I understand that if I move to Photos and use iCloud that I will have to pay for the 200GB of storage. My question is related to how much space this entire library will take up on a 16GB iPhone. I understand that some space-optimized version of the photo is created and stored on the phone but is there a way to calculate how much space the optimized Photos library will take on the iPhone?

iPhone 6, iOS 8.4

I agree with Mr. Churchill.

However on my iPhone 5, with a 50-60 GB photo library, Photos currently take up 2.5GB on my phone. So that might give you some sense of how much space it will take.

Probably also depends what you actually download to the device and what are just thumbnails.
