The fan in my macbook pro is not working at all.

The fan in my macbook pro was giving off clicking noises. I brought it into the apple store at the Garden State Plaza. My thought was they were supposed to fix it so that the fan would work again. It took 1 week for them to send it out. Now I received it back, but my fan is not working at all. No noise, and the computer is very hot after 10-15 minutes. Why wasn't the fan fixed or replaced? It seems the fan was taken off line, and not replaced nor fixed. What is the next step? What can I do now?
