Is my warranty on my phone now void?

About a year or so ago back when I had iOS 7, I used a jailbreaking method and had my phone jailbroken for awhile. Only to discover that my warranty had the potential of becoming void. I went onto iTunes and got rid of the jailbreaking software from my computer and my iPhone 4s ever since and I will never again. But the main question I'd like to know is that, Is my warranty now void and if it is, I understand that if my phone does brake or something along the lines like that, they may not repair my phone due to the void but does that mean if for example that if I want a new phone (iPhone 5) for example, would the store deny to take my phone as well?
