anyone out there could help me copy my iMovies library to external hard drive. Tried to copy what apple has on their web site and even spoke to techencian but no one can solve this?

Hi everyone,

I been trying to copy my imovie to external hard drive for several days. This is how I went about things. 1- Opened iMovies- Clicked on particular clip i needed- tne opened drop down on file menu- clicked on share- selected hard drive. the message comes insufficient space on external hard drive. The whole iMovie folder is only 78GB and the space on my hard drive is 500GB. Is there anyother easy and beter way to solve my problem.
