'Filter' failed error when printing from EPSON

There are two different printers with number 7900, the LP-7900 (laser) and the Stylus Pro 7900 (wide inkjet).

What exactly did you try?

Long shot, but maybe the filter really did fail.

After installing, is is often helpful to Reset Printing System, to make sure OS X finds the new driver.
