Thanks Carolyn! I had some issues after opening an excel file that came from a PC. I contacted the sender and after a scan they foundTrojan Downloader:win32/kuluoz on their computer. Glad to know it is not an issue for Macs.
That file can't be installled on a Macintosh OS.
Even at that, make sure GateKeeper is enabled.
Open System Preferences > Security & Privacy then select the General tab.
Select: Mac App Store and identified developers
If that area is grayed out, click the padlock icon to make changes. You may be prompted for your admin password before proceeding.
It was most likely found in an email attachment. Regardless of where it actually was though, it can't do anything to OS X. Just delete it so it isn't accidentally forwarded to a Windows user.
