My iPod 7th generation is turning on or not showing any sign.

My iPod 7th generation is turning on or not any sign, I have tried everything.I have not used it in a while, actually more than a month but it's been charging now for more than a few hours but no respond, whatsoever, I have tried every single thing, from pressing the home button +sleep/awake to pressing all the buttons simultaneously. Its not showing any sign on my macbook pro and on my windows computer. please help me out and tell me what to do to get it started.
